TESTED Kenwood SM-220 Station Monitor Scope WITH BS-8 Panoramic Adapter.

Here's a Kenwood SM-220 station monitor with BS-8 panoramic adapter and a copy of both the owner's manual and service manual.  The last pics show it being tested, first with my TS-430S looking at the RF output while being modulated by voice, and lastly a signal from my sig gen at 455KHz to show the panoramic adapter working.
This unit was originally designed to work with the TS-820 and 830S radios but it can monitor the RF output of basically any HF transceiver; just insert it in the RF out line.  If you want to use the panoramic function, it has a phono connector on the back where you plug in the 455KHz IF signal from your radio and there it is!  Just make sure you can access your radio's IF!
The scope has excellent intensity.  Pic 8  shows the inside. Please note: I changed the original wimpy little plastic shaft couplers that, typically, were cracking around the set screws.   The ones I installed are ceramic and metal heavy duty that should outlive the scope by a thousand years!  That's one of the original couplers laying on top of the metal box at the rear, just for comparison.
Cosmetically, the cabinet shows some small wear spots some of which were touched up. Overall looks quite nice!  Front panel is great!
Thanks to eBay's current draconian policies regarding returns, and parts changers, "renters", scammers, etc, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working.
Also thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program where we ship only to a US address.
The purchaser, upon receipt, might not agree as to my assessment of condition, but that's what it was HERE in MY opinion and it's being sold officially for parts or not working. It may or may not work at all when you get it!   NO REFUNDS or RETURNS!  If you don't agree to these terms DON'T BUY IT.
