You are purchasing bulk packs of our
PCIe Riser Clip Locks
for PCIe Riser Card Adapters, those used in PCIe 1x to 16x USB 3.0 Risers for Etherium/Crypto Mining rigs). There are multiple color and quantity options, and custom orders are accepted just send me a message with what you need.
These are
3D Printed clips/locks
that keep your PCIe 1x Riser (in the motherboard) secure. Without the clips/locks the PCIe 1x Riser can be quite loose and cause issues with the riser/gpu. These are a cheap security measure to ensure the risers stay in place firmly.
Please note that these clips fit the
TOP MOUNT USB mini riser
board style,
it will not fit
mini risers that the USB cable comes out of the back, only those that the USB cable points up from the motherboard.
These are 3D printed in small batches from PLA/PTEG and flex to snap into place and hold secure. They unsnap easily but it is recommended you
use a small tool to pry them away
from the PCIe slot, as
they can break given their size
,
please be careful
when installing/removing them. It is a good idea to order more than you need in case you end up snapping any.
These will
only fit motherboards with standard PCIe slot spacing
, they won't fit boards such as ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ as it uses non-standard spacing. These are printed to fit around most other componants but in rare cases need light sanding of the clip if the components are too tightly packed together.
It is better to install the clips before the USB cable of your riser is plugged in, but it is possible to do it while it is on as well.
As these are 3D printed in small batches, small variations in texture/finish is to be expected, this is normal for 3D printed products that aren't mass produced in a mold/injection process.
