    Description

Good day folks. For sale here is a full Allstar Motorola Destrac UHF Ham repeater setup. it runs on frequency 444.000. Any experienced tech that knows that this is knows that you can program this repeater to act like a traditional ham/commercial analog UHF repeater. As a matter of fact it comes with a CW control module that is easy to activate if needed.
Reason for selling is someone donated this to me years ago for our local usage. It was to be my job to figure out most if it with the help of the club and set something up with it for club use. But the club is no more. Members have passed away and I'm the only one left in the area. I got stuck trying to set this up with the AllStar Linux software all by myself with no local help or support. Documents recommend to use a RaspberryPI with prebuilt OS images. But I don't have any of those. So I tried with some old Pentium computers and laptops with  no luck. I could connect to AllStar But I could never get the URI to act right. So I just gave up and it stayed in the closet doing nothing.
I was going to keep it for the future to do some other ham projects but it does not look like Ham Radio in my area is taking off again any time soon so. My loss can be your gain. If your a tech i'm sure you can figure all this out and make it sexy again.
I did one thing with the help of the programming software. I did bring the power down to around 3-4 watts  because I wanted to test and tx without getting hot while counting to 10 into a dummy load. Again i'm just mentioning this and a tech will want to check out the settings to make sure everything suits your needs. Even may change the frequency if you please.
For Canada I can only do Canada Post Regular Parcel for a flat rate of . Because this item is around 25 plus pounds you don't want to see the other options. For USA folks i'm sorry it's 0 for Canada Post Expedited Parcel.
    Thanks for viewing!
