Kenwood TS-850SAT Restored, Aligned, and Working Great

Description

Here is an excellent KENWOOD TS 850S HF TRANSCEIVER with the internal antenna tuner.  A handheld Kenwood MC-42S microphone and a user manual reprint are included.  Also includes a 6 foot power cable terminated with Anderson 30 amp PowerPole connectors.  There are no optional filters or DSP-100 installed.  There is no MARS/CAP modification.
This transceiver (serial number 310800474) is in good cosmetic condition (see photos). The display is in good condition. Operationally, every function tested works well.  It puts out about 100 watts CW on all bands.  The carrier board has the upgraded 66312 DDS chips and the firmware on the digital board is the latest version(JEZB).  All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced and a total alignment was performed.  The memory backup battery is only a year old.
Notes on the carrier board:  When I purchased this transceiver, the carrier board was working fine.  The SMD capacitors had been replaced with regular electrolytic caps; however, I noticed that the corrosion from the leaky SMD caps had not been completely removed.  I unsoldered the repair caps and carefully cleaned all traces of the corrosion.  I then coated the clean traces with PCB sealant.  The sealant is clear so it isn’t visible in the photo.  I installed regular electrolytic caps because some of the SMD pads were in poor shape.
The transceiver will be carefully packed; double boxed and surrounded by bubble wrap.
