KENWOOD TS-711A - 144MHz HAM RADIO TRANSCEIVER Parts/Repair!

Up for auction is a used Kenwood TS-711A. It powers on and does function to some degree. It seems to have low power output and intermittent issues with the encoder. It does work on SSB and FM, just lower than rated power. It has some sort of aftermarket tone board installed into it. I know nothing about it other than what is pictured. This is the exact condition it was in when I got it. As you can see by the pictures it is in cosmetically rough shape and has been modified. The tone board does seem to work as it will work on local repeaters here. I do not have the time to put into repairing this right now and it is just taking up space. Maybe this could be repaired and used again or a good parts donor for another radio. The internal power supply does work and will include the AC power cable, as well as the mic pictured.  This is being sold as-is with no returns at all due to it's age and condition.
