Kenwood Model TS-940S 160-10m HF Transeiver

Up for Auction by our local Amateur Radio Club is an excellent Kenwood TS-940S HF Transceiver.  We are selling to benefit an older Ham who is no longer active.
In it's day this was a "top-of-the-line" radio from Kenwood. Its held it's value and is still a go-to choice, this is far more than an entry level radio.  The features included are top-notch even today.  Operates on 120/220/240 VAC with a built-in power supply.  Covers 160 meters thru 10 meters.  Includes the built-in auto tuner and many other features.
Our testing turned up no known issues. Output into a dummy load  was over 100 watts as expected.  The tuner brought the SWR down to about 1.5:1 on our vertical antenna.  As per most internal tuners this one does a great job up to about 3:1 SWR.  The main display is crisp and easy to read, very impressive.  There is a smaller multi-function display as well.
Measures in at about 16" X 17" X 7" in size and 45 pounds in weight, not a petite rig for sure, but still easy to fit on your radio bench and looks awesome!
Frequency coverage from 1.8 MHz to 29.7 MHz.  Modes include SSB, CW, FSK, AM, FM.  Rated output is 250 watts PEP, (160 to 10 meter bands, SSB, CW, FSK, FM)  140 watts AM.
Includes a Kenwood hand microphone and bound a copy of both the operating manual and the service manual.
