    Testing
We have had this radio in the shack and in use for several days.  Receive and transmit testing was conducted under a variety of band conditions.  We tried to test each button, knob and function and found no obvious problems.  We found this IC-728 to be a fun radio with all the basic features.  Using a vertical antenna and manual tuner we tuned to a reasonable SWR value and were able to see full rated output on SSB and CW.
This transceiver is being sold AS-IS, working, no returns.  Please see the pictures, ask any questions and download a copy of the manual for review, then bid accordingly.  What you see is exactly what you get, nothing more, nothing less.
We recommend this for any ones Ham Shack including, as a "first-rig", or due to it's size and weight it would also be an excellent take along radio for portable use.
Thanks for looking and good luck in the bidding.
On Sep-16-21 at 22:15:05 PDT, seller added the following information:
A closer look at the manual showed that an optional UI-7 board is needed for AM and FM operation.  This board has not been installed, so the list of supported modes above is incorrect.
A FL-30 SSB 2.3 kHz filter is installed, but the optional narrow CW filter slot for FL-100 or FL-101 filters is empty, so no narrow CW filter.
