Icom IC-281H 2 Meter VHF Transceiver - Works But...

Here we have an Icom IC-281H 50W 2 meter transceiver. Transmits and receives fine but has a couple of issues. First off a couple of the display back lamps are out and secondly the from panel encoder is wonky. Almost impossible to tune the frequency needed so you have to use the UP/DOWN buttons on the mic. The problem is the front panel encoder is needed to set other options such as tone and other items in the SET menu. If you play with it enough you can maybe get the tone set that you need. Also no mobile bracket or power lead. Comes with hand mic and copy of manual. GREAT simplex rig. Being sold 100% as-is, no returns or refunds.
