    Adapter
We've built on our (now legacy) Corsair RGB to NZXT AER Fan adapter and kicked it up a notch by creating an adapter that will work with most NZXT HUE 2 RGB Devices - whether they are strips, underglow, or fans. Just connect the beginning of your NZXT HUE 2 chain to our adapter instead of to the HUE 2 controller ... configure iCUE for the total number of LEDs ... and off you go!
Before clicking "Buy Now", there are a few things that you need to consider.
    1)
This adapter only works with 3-pin Corsair RGB connectors.
These are the connectors that you see on the Lighting Node Pro and Commander Pro. It will not work directly with an RGB Fan LED Hub or Lighting Node Core. If you want to use the adapter with these, you'll need the
Corsair Fan to Strip/Lighting Channel Adapter
to convert the 3-pin Corsair to 4-pin Corsair.
    2)
Keep it below 60 total LEDs per chain.
You need to make sure that the current draw on a single Corsair Lighting Channel is limited to approximately 2A (10W). This will come out to roughly 60 RGB LEDs. However you may need to check the specifications of any LEDs that you connect. If you exceed the limit, you may blow a fuse in your Lighting Channel.
    3)
You'll have to configure your devices in iCue based on the number of LEDs.
You can choose from HD (12 LEDs), LL (16 LEDs), ML (4 LEDs), 8-LED Fan Series, QL (34 LEDs) fans or RGB Strips (10 LEDs). Do not configure them as SP-RGB fans! You'll need to count the number of LEDs on your devices and then configure the lighting channel to have the same (or slightly greater) number of LEDs. The AER Fans have 8 LEDs and map well to the "8-LED Fan Series" in iCUE.
Experimenting with the setup can lead to some interesting effects. We do include a "cheat sheet" with every adapter to help you configure your channel.
    4)
May not work with NZXT Cases.
Strips and fans are all good but when I've done custom adapters previously, before carrying them regularly, for NZXT cases, they've not worked. While the sample size is small (only 2) and I've not had my hands, personally, on an NZXT case, it just hasn't worked out and I'm not sure why. So if you are planning on using this with an NZXT case, take that as a word of caution. Of course, if you do and it all works out well for you, we'd love to hear from you!!
