Clear Glass Lens, Carpenter Master Oscillating Fire Truck Light, Unity, S&M 5632

Description

This is a nice clear non-prismed spotlight glass lens for the Carpenter Master Oscillating Warning Light but is also appropriate for an antique automobile or truck spotlight or for the Unity psotlight on a police patrol car.  Unknown maker because it has no markings, which is entirely appropriate as absolutely none of the lenses for the Carpenter lights had any makers' marks.  It is also a direct replacement for the S&M Lamp Company lamps that would otherwise take the S&M Lens No. 5632. I
t is 5-1/2 inches in outside diameter.  It is in perfect condition and the surface is clean, smooth and shining bright.
The lens fits almost all of the S&M Lamp Co lamp heads of so many various styles including Lamp No. 52 and No. 71 and many, many others, including the Unity adjustable spotlamps of the 30's and 40's found mounted at the upper corners of the windshields on fire apparatus and on older police patrol cars of the pre-sealed beam era.  This lens also reportedly fits perfectly the Carpenter Master Oscillating Light series.  Best method for checking fitment is to measure the inside rim of the reflector.  It is a spot type lens without any prisming.  The glass lens will be carefully packaged.
