    Description

    Here’s a tested FT101E W/ AM filter that appears to be functioning rather well, but with no decent antenna up, using only a 30-40 ft wire in the rafters in my garage test bench,
    receive could not be properly checked.
    However,  I was able to hear stations on all bands either on air or with a sig gen if no sigs could be heard.
    The radio transmits with 100+ Watts out into my Watt meter.
    The last 4 pics show it transmitting on 40M, 20M, and 11M.
    Also transmits on 75M and 10M.
    Apparently there is no xtal for 160M; but in any event nothing heard there, or xmit.
    I don’t know the brand of the AM filter because I didn’t remove the radio from the case to see the top of it. I can tell it’s working well the way the radio tunes in powerful 40M AM b’cast stations, with sharp rejection to the sides.
    As you can see, it’s very clean inside, with virtually no signs of corrosion.
    The cabinet has minor paint wear in a few spots, and the front panel still has the protective clear plastic covering (hence some funny reflections!).  There are 2 holes with grommets on the right side probably there (?) to access adjustment screws.
    The radio will be shipped in its original inside ( with
    Styrofoam
    inserts) and outside boxes, AND another new box to cover both of them.
    The original boxes have been around for some time now and have copious amounts of tape on them.
    Also included is what appears to be a nearly new hand microphone (Galaxy) that came with the radio.
    The original owner’s and service manuals are also included.
    Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Also, thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program, or other US buyer where we ship only to a US address.
