1930 Packard Diesel Aircraft Engine Brochure
This is a rare find, a brochure about Packard's air-cooled radial diesel aircraft engine. Content includes a foreword about Packard Motor Co., the diesel engine specs, 10 illustrations and a write-up on the engine itself. The back cover discusses the benefits of diesel fuel itself as a fire-safe alternative.
Condition:
The brochure is intact but there are signs of damage around the top where the cover has torn away after becoming attached to an interior page. you can see the holes and tears in the photos pretty well. The brochure also shows staining and wrinkling. The good news is that the paper is intact and isn't crumbling. The brochure opens nicely and all interior illustrations are bright and clean.
